Applications are welcomed for this position within the Haringey Eating Disorder Service. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicants to develop skills and confidence working with clients with personality disorders in a highly supportive environment. You will work closely with a range of mental health professionals and will have the opportunity to undertake a variety of tasks to contribute to service provision.
St Ann’s Eating Disorders Service (part of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust) provides a comprehensive, specialist service to the North Central and North East London sectors. The service is comprised of a specialist eating disorder unit, along with a day program and community service.
Within the Eating Disorders Services, the successful applicants will have a broad range of duties; including contributing to the provision of both group and individual psychological work, undertaking defined pieces of work to support clinicians, and auditing and managing spread sheets. There are also likely to be opportunities to contribute to service development.
Clinical Supervision will be provided by senior clinicians and caseload management work will be supervised by senior members of the team. The service aims to foster a supportive environment for staff and the work of AMHW’s is also highly valued in the team.
The multi disciplinary team consists of nursing and medical teams, psychological therapists, social workers, OTs and AMHWs.
