The school of Creative and Performing Arts are expanding and seeking a highly motivated enthusiastic and versatile lecturer with a proven track record teaching at FE or HE level individual to join our Production Arts programmes to support students and the team. We are looking for a committed professional with expertise in Production Arts to teach within the Performing Arts faculty specialising in Sound, Lighting and AV for both FE and HE. The successful candidate should demonstrate that they are able to work well as part of a team. Furthermore, the candidate will prepare, set up and maintain equipment for classes and oversee its safe storage. They will provide advice on technical issues and give practical demonstrations to small groups of students. The appointed candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities will include planning and designing curriculum, teaching and assessing students and supporting with production. You should have a relevant qualification and experience of teaching in a classroom setting is desirable. We are looking for an adaptable, resourceful excellent communicator, who will be able to work as part of a team and have strong IT skills. The applicant will ensure the needs of our learners come first and that every learner will be provided with opportunities to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment. You will be required to deliver high quality learning and teaching ensuring that you are maintaining standards expected by the College, awarding and professional bodies, industry, stakeholders and learners. You are expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials which enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives.

Salary: £21.19-£23.84 per hour
