About the Team :
Pantheon's Global Private Debt team is one of the leading credit secondary solutions platforms in the market today. Building on Pantheon's strength and reputation as a provider of liquidity solutions to limited partners and general partners alike, the Global Private Debt team has over $6.0bn in AUM and is looking to deploy several $bn over the coming years.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and running of detailed financial models to assess potential investments in primary and secondary credit fund transactions and direct co-investments;
- Writing investment memoranda to make recommendations to Pantheon's Global Private Credit Committee;
- Management and review of transaction diligence material;
- Assisting senior team members on developing and extending GP (fund manager) network;
- Supporting senior team members on deal negotiations and deal completion;
- Help co-ordinating and executing closing legal documentation;
- Responding to Client Service requests and supporting other secondaries business development and origination initiatives;
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and Pantheon policy (including reporting compliance risks and maintaining appropriate standards of conduct.
Knowledge and Experience Required
- Prior experience of Leveraged Finance or Direct Lending either in an investment firm or bank;
- Ability to assess merits / risks of an investment in an insightful way and to develop an appropriate diligence plan to address concerns;
- Ability to work in a team and to navigate the structure of a complex organization;
- Ability to work to tight deadline with minimum supervision and to manage workloads efficiently;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required;
- Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft applications, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
- Degree or equivalent highly desirable in a numerate discipline (finance, commerce or business-related, maths, physics or engineering);
- CA or CFA would be advantageous.
