Brief
We are recruiting an Associate / Freelance Human Resources Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing renewables company with offices in London, Miami & Madrid. The company is in need of a very experienced Human Resources expert to come in on an associate basis, working around 2 days per week (flexible) over the next 6 months, potentially longer. The main purpose of this role is to provide people strategy and agenda support to the business as they continue to rapidly scale.
We need someone with extensive knowledge, who is able to hit the ground running and take control of formulating the companies approach to HR, the people strategy, structuring an effective onboarding process, offering extensive HR support and advice to the CEO and assisting with organisational design.
This role is hybrid, with remote working and work in the offices in London. You may be required to travel to the company’s other offices in Miami & Madrid on occasion. This is a group company, with multiple entities.
Main responsibilities
- Formulating the companies HR approach
- Taking control of the people strategy: attraction, retention, engagement, empowerment, learning and development, support, performance, reward, recognition & wellbeing
- Developing and structuring an effective onboarding process for both new employees and new companies
- Supporting the creation of a of a portfolio wide development approach that ensures everyone learns and grows together in a consistent way
- Providing the CEO with an enhanced level of people support that compliments their local HR team
- Providing the partners with organisational design support
Essential Requirements
- Extensive HR management & people strategy experience, ideally within a global company and preferably within a group company (minimum 5 years)
- HR / Management Degree (additional CIPD qualification preferable)
- Competent and highly productive working remotely
- Excellent understanding of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience creating new policies and procedures
- Strong business acumen with the ability to think innovatively to influence strategic direction and issue resolution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work confidently with all levels of the business, and deal sensitively with difficult issues and personalities if required
- Collaborative team player with the ability to build and develop strong relationships
- A person with sound judgement, able to establish a high level of credibility and act as a trusted advisor to the management

Salary: £850.00-£900.00 per day
