We have an opportunity for a Associate Graphic Designer to join our UK Retail team.
This role will support UK Retail, Bid & Review Team; providing support in respect of creation of graphic design projects ranging from RFP reports through to other tailored marketing collateral, to ensure a timely turnaround for stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and format of documents supporting the UK Retail Bid & Review team and wider internal clients to deliver projects on time, using either the Adobe Suite or Microsoft Office
- Using supplied content to build documents and presentations, working out formatting and suggesting improvement to the client message
- Creation of visuals, including infographics, graphs, process flows etc.
- Engaging with the team / internal clients throughout the design, managing expectations on timelines, and following brand guidelines
- Project manage design work for bids, acting as the guide on best practice design
- Adhere to brand guidelines and become an active champion of the brand
- Manage external suppliers on occasion
- Ensure business sign off is acquired
Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent qualifications / experience
- Proven experience in graphic design using range of suites including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Hype, Quark Express 9.0, Keynote or other desktop publishing and typesetting tools
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential
- Preferred experience of working within the Insurance / Brokerage Market, or broader Financial Services
- Ability to meet consistently high quality standards whilst handling a variety of projects and deadlines
- Acute attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with colleagues
- Working within structured project methodology and reporting
- Excellent planning skills and ability to anticipate future outcomes and manage risks to projects
