Job description
- HSBC is looking for an Associate, EMEA sales-trader to join its leading EMEA investment business within our Global banking & Markets division.
- The role will include the execution of client EMEA cash equity business, advising clients on market news and events.
- The successful candidate will join a growing EMEA execution team providing execution advice and expertise to our existing and expanding client base.
- The candidate requires a strong understanding of equity execution across the entire product class including ECM, Risk Trading, High Touch, Program Trading and Electronic Trading.
- The candidate should have previous experience of EMEA markets with an existing and established client base.
- Market HSBC’s execution services to predominately US & UK clients with a focus on hedge funds.
- Experience in EMEA sales trading whilst equity derivative and non-cash experience is preferred.
- Strong account management skills and cross product knowledge.
- Strong interest and understanding of EMEA financial markets
- A working understanding of equity capital markets and managing the IPO process.
- Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working,
- The candidate will ensure the fair treatment of our customers is at the heart of everything we do, both personally and as an organisation.
- Suggest ideas and contribute to implementing actions that will improve customer service
