We are seeking talented individuals that want to join us as an associate director grade project manager, that can work with us on our regional local government, arts, culture, and heritage projects. Project: Variety of projects within the consultancy sector of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and being accountable for commercial and resourcing arrangements of projects.
Leading on working winning, including bid preparation and interviews.
Supervising the project team to safely deliver on time, to stated budget and quality and to client satisfaction a range of projects.
Assisting clients with the development of the project brief.
Preparing and delivery of reports including feasibility, due diligence and project progress reports.
Preparing and maintaining the project programme from inception to completion to record principal activities and identify critical dates.
Managing and monitor the performance of the professional team and the main contractor.
Establishing appropriate project reporting procedures and systems and preparing regular/monthly quality, risk, cost and progress/programme reports to the client.
Reviewing and challenging the technical documentation.
Applying the ISO9001 compliant management system.
Setting up and chairing regular progress meetings and report on project and commercial progress, issues and risks. Advising the client of any assessment required and obtain authorisation.
Ensuring close out and practical completion schedules are completed and issued.
Undertaking contract administration under the terms of the construction contract.
Promoting the health and safety culture and dealing with issues and ensure compliance.
Supervising of a client account(s) and individual project commercial elements including project workbooks and project service reviews.
Providing high-quality reporting procedures to a variety of different audiences over a range of different formats.
About you
You have professional qualifications such as RICS, CIOB and are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
