Associate Director - Electrical

Up to £85,000 plus bonus and generous benefits package

London (with hybrid working)

A fantastic opportunity has now arisen to join as Associate Director (Electrical) to lead a multi-disciplinary team, be responsible for the delivery of key client projects, and drive business development and work-winning activities to support the growth of the division.

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Technical Director, this role will be responsible for the oversight of key projects and leadership of the division, while supporting work-winning and business development activities.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing key building services projects ranging from new build to refurbishment, adaptation and fit-outs.
Coordination of MEP design team with other disciplines and with external parties such as architects and client project delivery teams.
Participate in business development activities, building on existing client relationships and broadening the client base and sector coverage.
Coordinate with contractors and manufacturers on a technical level.
Participate in project activities including design, specification and documentation.
Review and comment on contractor technical submittals.
Participate in Construction stage activities for projects including compliance, quality monitoring and witness testing.
Lead and guide and participate in projects from initial concept through to completion.
Contribute to the overall design work of allocated projects

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Building Services or related Engineering discipline
Experienced and qualified in design and delivery.
Demonstrable experience writing specifications, controls software or commissioning.
Site experience in building services solutions appropriate for projects.
Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels including a proven ability to communicate with technical staff across multiple disciplines.
Have attributes of a team player and willingness to support the growth of the division.
Ability to exercise substantial initiative and high-level judgement and to work independently to meet objectives.
