What you will do:
As an Associate, you will be involved in multiple phases of a consulting engagement, from initial research through final implementation. Almost immediately, you will join a project team, working at a client location, sharing your ideas, solving problems and providing solutions in the areas of procurement and supply chain management. Over the course of your career at GEP, you will continuously build your project management and client management skills, and further develop your communication and presentation abilities.

You will work with teams and clients from varied industries across Europe and globally to help develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies and play a key role in client engagement teams that deliver successful business results for the client.
  • Work on strategic sourcing, category management projects and procurement transformation projects
  • Analyse data to identify savings opportunities and make recommendations/actions
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to support project deliverables
  • Deliver projects that drive bottom-line success for our clients
  • Develop fact-based, data-driven, creative solutions
  • Conduct successful negotiations with suppliers and stakeholders to create an optimal working relationship
  • Liaise with senior colleagues to gain client project buy-in and successfully implement
  • Understand client needs to flawlessly deliver and gain confidence at the highest levels
  • Work closely with GEP and client teams spread geographically across time zones and cultures
  • Build and shape opportunities to create intellectual capital and expertise to develop internal knowledge
  • Assist with business development activities and other firm building initiatives
What you should bring:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top university
  • Strong problem-solving skills, quantitative and analytical ability
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a professional/academic/extra-curricular setting
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in written and verbal forms
  • Must be business fluent in English – additional fluency in German and French would be preferred
  • Strong eagerness to learn and effectively challenge oneself and others
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues in teams of varying background and cultures
  • Flexible to travel at least 25% of the time
