Overview
Rising nationalism and strong domestic opportunity present a growing imperative for localisation. Current events such as the Russia-Ukraine war have further exacerbated the rate of change in our operating reality. We are committed to showing up locally and being domestically relevant in the markets we serve. The mandate of the Localisation Program Office (LPO) is to provide a more orchestrated approach to Localisation in an increasingly fragmented world, which includes:
- Providing a coordinated view on market conditions (regulatory and non-regulatory), emerging themes, and potential future states
- Bringing together all of Mastercard to position us as a market partner with governments, regulators, partners, and customers
- Focusing on commercial outcomes (e.g., maximizing participation in domestic transactions and services)
- Execution-orientation, working with country teams to develop the right combination of propositions
Role
This is a high exposure and strategic role for an Associate Analyst who will be playing a critical role in advancing Mastercard’s localisation agenda, thereby securing our business’ future
The Associate Analyst will support localization initiatives globally. This includes but is not limited to working with:
- Teams within the LPO to drive strategy, analytics, and processes to fulfil team objectives
- Technology teams to better leverage Salesforce and other platforms
- Products teams to drive their GTM strategy
- Corporate Development team to drive M&A strategy

- Intellectually curious, analytical, and able to connect the dots between the worlds of business and international affairs
- An entrepreneurial self-starter with a strong execution-orientation
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well with a team
