As a Warehouse Manager at Carpet World Cardiff Ltd., you will be a vital cornerstone of our logistics and distribution team, ensuring that our products are managed, stored, and dispatched to our clients with the utmost efficiency and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse inventory and storage.
- Oversee the timely receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Ensure equipment and conveyor systems are maintained and in good working condition.
- Continuously assess and improve warehouse operations to optimize efficiency.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that goods and materials are tracked efficiently.
- Ensure that the quality of goods stored in the warehouse meets the required standards.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage inventory, staff schedules, and multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proven ability to guide and manage a team to achieve operational goals.
- Skills in assessing processes and implementing improvements.
- Ability to address and resolve issues that might arise in the warehouse environment.
- Understanding of warehouse equipment, software, and technology.
- Ensuring accuracy in order processing, inventory checks, and other warehouse activities.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to manage finances and maintain cost-effective operations.

Salary: £25,100.00-£27,000.00 per year
