Assistant sales manager
Since 1970, Stand 21, a family owned French company has been developing and manufacturing equipment for racing drivers. Stand 21 are world leaders in made to measure racing equipment from head to toe. Our mission is to improve safety on the racing track and make motorsports safer for professional racing drivers, but also for gentlemen drivers who want to make their hobby safer.
Stand 21 UK is a subsidiary of the French company Stand 21. We are looking for a sales assistant manager to work alongside our current Sales Manager at our shop located inside Brands Hatch race track. Whilst we are based at Brands Hatch, we travel the country attending different race events throughout the year, so our candidate would need to be flexible and willing to work some weekends.
This job opportunity will require the candidate a 2 month training course in our head office in Dijon,
France with all travel expenses paid for. A good chance to explore the Burgandy area and learn a bit of French!

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the shop and promote the image and value of the company.
- Prepare estimates, checking and raising invoices with QuickBooks.
- Answer the telephone and respond to email enquiries.
- Create shipping and collection. Prepare parcels.
- Make sure to maintain high level of customer service.
- Have full knowledge of the products and sell the full range of racing equipment.
- Attend racing events with our stand, promote the brand and sell products.
- Designing bespoke racing suits on Corel Draw.
- Take care of social media.
- Assisting with annual stock takes.
- Make sure the shop is tidy and professional.
Qualities
- Be confident, self-driven and with good communication.
- Be pro-active.
- Be a people person with great customer service and resolution skills – a desire to own and and sort out customer issues.
- Be passionate about motorsport, having a knowledge about it is a plus.
- Excellent communications skills, driven by customers' needs and product belief.
- Be a great team player to ensure you and your colleague achieve team targets.
- Reliable, professional with a can-do attitude with a natural desire to learn new skills.
- Excellent keyboard and PC skills are essential and ideally competent on Microsoft office,
QuickBooks, Corel draw.

Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
