Job description
We're looking for an energetic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at The Newport Restaurant.
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing the front-of-house staff, ensuring the highest level of customer service, overseeing inventory and ordering, and ensuring that all food safety and restaurant industry standards are met.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A passion for guest satisfaction and excellent customer service.
- A strong knowledge of food safety regulations and restaurant industry standards.
- Experience in inventory management, ordering, and scheduling.
This position requires a flexible schedule over a 4 day working week from Thursday - Sunday, including weekends and holidays. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will report to the Restaurant Manager and work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth and successful operation.
