Permanent, seasonal post (March – October)
37 hours on a rota including weekends.
The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads is Britain's largest protected wetland and third largest inland waterway, with the status of a national park. It is also home to some of the rarest plants and animals in the UK.
We are seeking committed individuals to fill four Assistant Seasonal Ranger roles. Working within the Ranger team, postholders will be responsible for patrolling, dealing with incidents and ensuring the safety of the public as well as carrying out general maintenance on mooring and countryside sites which the team manages.
Successful candidates will have a proven ability to deal with a wide range of people and be able to manage a varied workload to ensure a good level of service is provided for boaters and other visitors to the Broads area. Formal qualifications in boating and conservation management are not essential however candidates should have some experience in these areas along with a general understanding of the Broads.

A practical skills assessment day will be held on 9 March 2023.
