Part Time Assistant Psychologist Position (Remote, Manchester)
Job Description
- Remote working, but may require occasional work in Manchester/ surrounding areas.
- 0-10 hours a week self employed, 11gbp per hour, flexible on days/ times you wish to work.
- This post entails working with a Consultant Clinical Psychologist providing medico-legal services.
- The appointed candidate will be summarising medical histories and proof reading psychological reports, often relating to PTSD, depression or anxiety.
- This post will provide excellent experience for an individual pursuing a career in Clinical Psychology, or for aspiring psychologists with an interest in trauma.
Person Specification
- Undergraduate degree or above in Psychology completed or ongoing.
- Personal qualities: Reliable, punctual, compassionate and hard working.
- Respectful of confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
- Excellent proof reading skills, spelling and attention to detail.
- High proficiency in IT, including using word, formatting etc.
- Open to learning.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Touch typing skills.
- Medico-legal experience.
- Masters in Psychology.
- Secretarial experience.
- Experience with psychometrics.
