Part Time Assistant Psychologist Position (Remote, Manchester)

Job Description

• Remote working, but may require occasional work in Manchester/ surrounding areas.
• 0-10 hours a week self employed, 11gbp per hour, flexible on days/ times you wish to work.
• This post entails working with a Consultant Clinical Psychologist providing medico-legal services.
• The appointed candidate will be summarising medical histories and proof reading psychological reports, often relating to PTSD, depression or anxiety.
• This post will provide excellent experience for an individual pursuing a career in Clinical Psychology, or for aspiring psychologists with an interest in trauma.

Person Specification

• Undergraduate degree or above in Psychology completed or ongoing.
• Personal qualities: Reliable, punctual, compassionate and hard working.
• Respectful of confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
• Excellent proof reading skills, spelling and attention to detail.
• High proficiency in IT, including using word, formatting etc.
• Open to learning.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Desirable

• Touch typing skills.
• Medico-legal experience.
• Masters in Psychology.
• Secretarial experience.
• Experience with psychometrics.
