Job description
The Medical Psychology service provides psychological assessment, support and treatment to medical patients within the South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It is the largest hospital trust in the Tees Valley, with two acute hospitals and services in a number of community hospitals and community-based services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Assistant Psychologist with an interest in Neuropsychology to join the team. The post holder will work closely with members of the Neuropsychology Service to deliver assessments and interventions for adults with a wide range of neurological conditions. They will work closely with the wider MDT to support and develop psychological understanding of patients' presenting difficulties through consultation, supervision and support, providing interventions for patients and their families.
The post holder will have excellent communication skills and will have demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team. Above all you must be passionate about working in Neuropsychology, using drive and innovation to make positive changes for this specific patient group.
