An exciting opportunity has arisen foran enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Psychologist to be part of our Children's and Young Adults Intensive Support Team for Coventry and Warwickshire. If you are a driven and passionate and want to work with Autistic children and young adults and/or children with learning disabilities who have additional mental health needs and are at risk of admission to hospital, then we want to hear from you.
The team cover the whole of the Coventry and Warwickshire geographical area and the base will be Paybody, Coventry. The team currently work Monday to Friday 9-5 with expected flexibility to start later or finish later occasionally if there is a clinical need. The team currently follow a hybrid model of working remotely, in the community, or in one of the community bases.
The Children's Intensive Support Team started as a pilot project over 4 years ago. The team have been successful in supporting a number of Autistic children and children with a learning disability with additional mental health needs, reducing unnecessary hospital admissions. Due to the success of the team, additional funding has enabled the scope to include young adults up to 25 years of age.
As travel is an integral part of this post, car owner/driver.
