The Priory Hospital Glasgow is Scotland's leading independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital. We have a range of services including General Adult Psychiatry, Addictions and Eating Disorders
We are looking to recruit a fulltime Assistant Psychologist to work within our Eating Disorder inpatient Unit. This is a permanent post.
The role includes managing a small caseload, working with patients both individually and in a group setting, providing therapeutic interventions under the guidance and instruction of the Consultant Psychologist. In addition, the role will require the completion of reports, data collection and input as well as research.
Attendance and participation in team meetings, MDT case conferences and CPD events is required. Previous experience of intervention facilitation as well as work experience with eating disorders and/or personality disorders is desirable but not essential.
Regular supervision and training will be provided. The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team is of key importance.
