Job description
We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated psychology graduates who are keen to gain experience in order to progress towards applied training in clinical psychology to join our team at Bromley CAMHS ISPA as an Assistant Psychologist.
The post is focused upon supporting data collection processes for Children and Young Peoples including referral demographic information, clinical outcome monitoring, and service–user satisfaction. The role involves supporting data collection and possible evaluation of A & E data. Alongside this the successful candidate will also manage clinical outcomes data in line with CYP IAPT and the Mental Health Data Set clinical staff in using and interpreting routine outcomes measures, analysing data, producing reports and training staff in outcome measures. There will also be opportunities to develop your own clinical experience by undertaking supervised clinical tasks.
- Having good IT skills and knowledge of Excel and SPSS would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to be able to liaise and support clinical staff and teams, and an interest in working with children and young people is essential.
- The posts will be supervised by a Clinical Psychologist. Although the primary task in these roles is to support data collection there will be opportunities to undertake clinical work under supervision.

- To support the data collection/analysis of young people presenting to the ISPA within the borough of Bromley
- To help support the data collection processes for Children and Young Peoples IAPT (CYP-IAPT) within a multi-disciplinary CAMHS service.
- To assist in clinically related administration, completion of audits, collection of statistics, and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.
- There will also be opportunities to undertake clinical work under supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist and support the psychological care of clients within the service, across all sectors of care and within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
