Job summary
The Psychological Assessment and Therapy Service (PATS) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with clients with mental health difficulties. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a variety of clinicians who form part of the Jersey Complex Trauma Network. Our team consists of counselling/clinical psychologists, a CBT therapist, Community Navigators and a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Counsellor.
The successful candidate will work in a range of services which are part of the Jersey Complex Trauma Network. Responsibilities will include conducting initial client assessments, providing therapeutic support to clients, facilitating group therapy, and collaborating with our team of psychologists and other mental health professionals. You will also have the opportunity to participate in case management meetings and professional development opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in psychology that is approved by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and have some experience in working with clients in amential health setting.
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a passion for helping people overcome mental health challenges are essential.
