This exciting role offers an exciting opportunity for an assistant psychologist with an interest in working directly and indirectly to promote the wellbeing of people with offending history and complex personality difficulties. The role focuses on service user involvement and working in partnership with colleagues within Probation Service London (PSL) as part of the Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Pathway.
The post holder will work both indirectly through staff and directly with services users across two parts of LPP: As part of the Workforce Development Team, they will lead on the organization and co-ordination of pan London training events. There will be opportunities to support delivery of pan London training events, participate in training events and develop clinical skills in support of service user trainers. In the Inclusion and Involvement Service they will work therapeutically with people on probation to enable them to achieve support for meaningful social integration opportunities. This will include collaborating and co-producing ideas and projects with people in service user involvement roles, and co-facilitating peer support groups.
The London Pathways Partnership (LPP) is a consortium of five NHS trusts which delivers psychological services across the National Probation Service in London, providing training, case identification and consultation, formulation, and pathway management for high-risk high harm personality disordered offenders.
