We are looking for two Assistant Psychologists to join our established psychology team at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital
Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital is our state-of-the-art Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) hospital in Coventry. The service has four wards and supports young people aged between 12 and 18 with mental health needs in low secure, psychiatric intensive care and acute environments. The aim of the service is to help young people stabilise and return home as soon as possible.
The successful candidates will form part of an established psychology team, including a Lead Psychologist, Principal Psychologist, two further Qualified Psychologists, a Trainee Psychologist and three Assistant Psychologists.

Your Day-to-Day…
We are seeking an academically strong and personable candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by working as part of a multidisciplinary team and assisting the Qualified Psychologists with;
Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written)
Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group interventions
Administration, audit, research and service development
Providing teaching and training to colleagues
We’re looking for someone who…
Has a Degree in psychology (2:1 or above or a 2:2 with further study, such as a MSc)
Has experience of working with individuals who experience mental health difficulties
Is passionate about learning and working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Has experience of working with children and adolescents (preferable)
Has previous experience of working as an Assistant Psychologist (preferable)
Has a Masters degree in psychology (preferable)
