Assistant Propositions Manager -12-month FTC
Northampton and Glasgow
As a Barclays Assistant Propositions Manager, you will be accountable for constantly developing and maintaining an efficient and clearly defined proposition which delivers for the business, colleagues, line manager and candidates. A key requirement of the role will be to collaborate through others including the Talent Acquisition (TA) sub-services, colleagues from the business, and 3rd party providers to effectively ensure delivery of a great candidate, hiring manager and stakeholder experience.

What will you be doing?
- Defining and implementing global propositions within portfolio
- Working closely with the broader TA team to deliver Project PIVOT
- Constantly developing and maintaining an efficient and clearly defined proposition which delivers for the business, colleagues, line manager and candidates
- Managing relationship with internal stakeholders including coverage partners, head of attraction and assessment, programmatic recruitment and programme leads
- Managing and continuously improving strategic programmes that support the firm’s strategy and commitment to society
- Leading by example and promoting a control focused culture
- Leading, managing and organising the teams to execute the strategy and business plans in line with approved risk appetite and values
- Measuring and reporting service performance of propositions within their portfolio against agreed budget, and customer outcomes as well as firms policy and governance framework
- Significant background in Talent Acquisition and subject matter expertise with a breadth of experience in a variety of hiring channels
- Excellent PowerPoint skills with the ability to create decks in order to tell a story
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Change management /transformation skills
- Experience working on a large scale system change
- Ability to execute quickly and effectively with excellent influencing skills, within a complex matrix organisational structure
- Attention to detail and significant organisational skills
Where will you be working?
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
