The opportunity
Project: We are looking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager, enabling the project to be delivered to the agreed budget, time and quality standards. To help with overall onsite safety management including recording issues on the SHE online and to assist the Project Manager.
Working on Major Construction Projects within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, education, blue light and technology sectors to deliver some of the most innovative, sustainable and technically advanced projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing/assisting with project reports for issue to client on a weekly and monthly basis and to report on project progress and performance.
- Supporting all on site quality control, coordination of benchmarks and liaison with the construction supervisors.
- Assisting in the day to day liaison with the neighbouring building owners and other relevant authorities.
- Reviewing the contractor method statements/risk assessments.
- Assessing the contractors’ monthly applications for payment.
- Ensuring full understanding of all the contractors’ scopes.
- Attending off site inspections as required.
- Assisting in final quality inspections with the construction supervisors.
- Providing input information to the electronic document management system and to other project control systems.
- Supporting the commercial manager/quantity surveyor with project information.
About you
You have a degree qualification in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, commercial management, working towards membership with a relevant institution (e.g. CIOB or ICE). You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
