We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Natural Resources team for our Severn Trent contract. Based from our Sheffield office but working from home and site, you can enjoy knowing that you not only help manage projects that are beneficial for our employees but for the community.
Location: based in or around the East Midlands area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll be working on our Severn Trent water Frameworks within our Water sector, delivering schemes of varying sizes, predominately to the Water Industry, across Wastewater Treatment delivering both Design and Build. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will assist them in the management and control of the project to ensure the safe completion in accordance with programme and specification and budget.
Your day to day will include:
- Contributing to the value engineering and buildability of the project
- Determination to gain agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planners and other appropriate production personnel
- Marshalling of resources for the overall control and execution of the works including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works
- Ensuring that key dates, resource requirements, production rates, overhead targets etc., are established, monitored and controlled
- Managing multiple or larger packages of work
What are we looking for?
This role of Assistant Project Manager is great for you if you:
- HNC or higher in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience within a similar role or Site Management
- SMSTS and CSCS
