What You’ll Do:
Are you looking for the opportunity to work in an exciting fast-paced sports news organisation? SNTV are looking for an enthusiastic storyteller with video editing skills who is looking to enter the world of sports and media as an Assistant Producer.
As Assistant Producer, you will be responsible for the production of daily content for SNTVPlay, plus a variety of other projects.
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
  • To watch, edit and script various sports content
  • Cutting and scripting material for our daily output
  • Strong headline writing to maximize client interest
  • Monitoring breaking news stories and various social media outlets
  • Embracing innovation and new technologies to keep SNTV at the forefront of production.
  • Taking editorial control of the output at certain times
  • Delivering high quality output
  • Required to work weekends and late-night hours as part of a shift pattern
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Basic knowledge of After Effects
  • Good written and oral English language skills
  • Strong all round sporting knowledge
  • Ability to work with Stills as well as videos
  • Good team player and good at encouraging participation from others
  • Demonstrates strong editorial judgment

  • Ability to make editorial decisions without direct supervision and in a pressurized environment
  • Ability to work as part of a senior editorial team and relay decisions made to own team to create a uniformed approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Adaptable and flexible to change
  • The ability to generate original ideas and a willingness to participate/contribute in the creative process
  • Any additional language skills would also be an advantage
