What's happening?

We are on the lookout for a for a talented Assistant Producer to join a leading award-winning communications agency. You will be part of a team that thrives on challenges and keeps quality, creativity and passion at the heart of what they do. We are a busy but close-knit Video team with an appetite for producing quality work and proud to service a very large and prestigious client list. Our team is supportive of each other, and we have regular socials and team gatherings.

We are looking for a dynamic and well-organised person to work with us; someone who is keen to continue and grow in production and enjoys working on a range of AV projects for a list of world's leading brands. Our ideal team member would be someone with prior experience in production, who is comfortable taking a lead on their projects from the initial briefing, to shoot and till delivery of final assets. You will often be involved in shooting and postproduction of multiple projects at a time; hence the position requires an exceptionally organised, experienced, and motivated individual who can juggle the complex process of complete stages of production. You should be confident in pitching shoot, editing style or graphic ideas and best possible project solutions to reach the desired creative output.

What will you be doing?

  • Create highly engaging audio, video and print content through support from internal crew and external resources
  • Organise and run small to mid-level shoots with skeleton crew
  • Work alongside senior members of the team to understand your day-to-day duties and responsibilities
  • Support senior producers with supplier, freelancer, and talent research on project basis
  • Work with creatives to understand project needs and collaborate in finding the best solutions considering budget and resources
  • Liaise with account management teams to understand and manage project requirements from timeline, deliverable, and budget perspectives
  • Work with in-house and freelance editors on postproduction of in-house content or client video projects
  • Create project estimates, work with production management and finance teams to ensure relevant paperwork is in order including raising PO's and submitting supplier invoices
  • Your role may occasionally involve travel across Europe with internal and external crew

Who are you?

  • Previous experience as working as an Assistant Producer
  • Strong working knowledge of overall production process and digital asset formats
  • Strong editorial judgment
  • Experience in any project management/resourcing software is beneficial
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience of running small shoots and producing short form video content
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with working to deadlines and managing multiple projects
  • Editing experience and knowledge of a second European language is desired but not necessary
