For 30 years we’ve been creating incredible video games at our multiple studios, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

We operate across multiple UK locations, with studios based in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool, and Wakefield. We are looking for a talented Assistant Producer to join our passionate and experienced Production team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in project management with an aptitude for prioritising and multi-tasking.

The Assistant Producer is a role dedicated to proactively managing the creation and tracking of submission schedules whilst supporting production and live-ops teams. As part of the Production team, you will play a key role in overseeing submissions of multiple overlapping projects and workflows.

This position will allow the successful applicant to work on multiple projects simultaneously. You will be part of the team that works with Rebellion’s internal development and publishing teams as well as external development teams.

Working with external teams will give you an insight into how different teams work, giving you the opportunity to learn and evolve as an Assistant Producer with the longer-term aim of growing into the role of Producer.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage the creation and tracking of submission schedules and checklists.
  • Compile age rating materials and oversee the age rating process through to successful completion.
  • Report and represent the submission status, progress, risk and mitigations to key partners.
  • Responsible for the submission process and to help refine procedures within defined boundaries.
  • Submit and publish additional content items (DLC, Themes, etc.).
  • Support the live-ops team with the release of new content.
  • Manage the requirements and processes for platform-specific content such as DLC items, age rating certifications etc.
  • Support QA and Production with the build, test and launch pipelines for platform releases of our games.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of the various tools and portals used in the video game publishing and Release Management process
  • Working knowledge of current platform certification guidelines, including technical, storefront and commerce requirements.
  • A full working knowledge of production methodology used in games development.
  • Ability to oversee multiple overlapping projects and workflows.
  • Able to maintain relationships with, and manage process flows across various internal departments and third parties.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - a team player who is able to lead and work collaboratively within the group, as well as across business units/functions – high emotional intelligence and cultural awareness.
  • Ability to communicate detailed solutions to any problems encountered.
  • Able to manage the demands of numerous people and tasks.
