Role: Assistant Procurement Analyst

As part of a wider procurement team, you’ll be working alongside both the procurement and supply chain department where you’ll have the opportunity to work for a market leading company whilst gaining valuable skills and experience to ensure you develop to your full potential.
What you’ll do:
Support the Procurement & Supply Chain function, as well as the wider business, by producing both regular and ad-hoc reports- Undertake recurring daily, weekly & monthly Management Information reports and data-related tasks
- Ensure Procurement & Supply Chain data sources are kept up-to-date and accurate
- Assist in updating RMS (Robertson Management Systems) and Operational Handbook processes as required
- Support data gathering that helps deliver on our Responsible Business Plan commitments
- Engage with internal stakeholders, the supply chain or other external sources as required
- Any other analytical or administrative duties as required
A good understanding of Microsoft Excel and knowledge of other common Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint etc.)- An understanding of the mathematical calculations commonly used in data analysis
- The ability to extract relevant information and insights from a wide range of data sources
- Problem solving skills with an attention to detail
- Process driven, with a continuous improvement focus and willing to use initiative when required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A friendly, flexible approach to your working day with the ability to prioritise workloads and adjust quickly to changing priorities
- You will have an enthusiastic, engaged attitude and eagerness to learn and develop personally and professionally and the willingness to take responsibility for your academic and vocational development
