Job description
To work within the spray booth working closely with the sprayer. Initially learning how to prepare the units prior to spraying and ultimately learning the entire spraying process. The operative must have good attention to detail and be able to work to a high standard with an excellent focus on Health and Safety.
Role will include
- Degreasing units
- Scraping down steel
- Pre-painting hard to spray areas
- Piping joints between steel
- Protecting floor prior to spray
- Maintaining spraying equipment
- Keeping paint store organized
- Putting away deliveries
- Keeping spray booth clean and tidy
- Maintaining LEV systems
- Maintaining RPE

Person Specification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to read CAD drawings
- A good knowledge of Health & Safety
- The ability to work to competing demanding deadlines
- Problem solving skills
- Strong team player
- Willingness to carry out further training and development
- Punctual
- Ability to work overtime if required
