Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to work with the outpatient team and be a part of how outpatients develops over the next 12 months. The post holder will have the opportunity to work behind the scenes of outpatients, supporting the team with developments to improve outpatient systems, processes and waiting list management.
It is important the post holder is able to work flexibly at times using their own initiative and organisational skills to complete tasks.
Patients are at the heart of all the work we do in outpatients, and we are looking for someone who shares the same passion to provide the best care we can.
The post holder will help support both the Outpatient Services Manger and Head of Outpatients in identifying areas of improvement for outpatients, and also working with specialities to recognised areas of development and support implementation of changes towards improving outpatients.

We are looking for a passionate, well-motivated person with a positive approach to provide administrative support within the outpatient’s team.
Some of the main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Working to improve data quality management of outpatients, including waiting lists, clinic administrative processes and outcome reporting.
- Provide outpatient information at divisional meetings, identifying areas of improvement and working with specialities to achieve those improvements.
- Working alongside appointments to ensure patients receive their appointments and communications in a timely manner.
- Identifying improvements in outpatient systems and processes, and implementing solutions.
