An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team.
This position would suit an individual who is well presented, professional, computer literate and has the ability to provide excellent customer service within a client focused business. The successful candidate will have worked in a professional office, but this does not necessarily have to be within the accountancy industry.
The main duty of this position is to assist the office manager to enable the smooth and efficient running of the office and will include, but is not limited to:
- Meeting and greeting clients, potential clients and other visitors
- Answering the telephone and allocating calls to correct staff members where required
- Invoicing and credit control
- Client administration including keeping records and databases up to date
- Distributing incoming correspondence appropriately within the office
- Arranging appointments and diary management
- Assisting other team members with a variety of administrative duties
- Prepare correspondence and documents
Additional duties maybe introduced, depending on progression and for which full training will be given, will be to assist our payroll team.
Skills and essential requirements:
- GCSE, or equivalent, in English and Mathematics Grade C or above
- Experience in office administration
- Good telephone manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Happy disposition
- Good computer skills including proficiency in using MS Office
- Great attention to detail
- Must be a quick and enthusiastic learner with a ”can do” attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
- Good team worker
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week
Salary: From £10.50 per hour
