Looking for a Merchandising role where you can help deliver stock requirements for our great outdoor brands?
Do you have a proven background within an Allocator, MAA, Senior MAA role or above with at least 1 years' experience either in industry or from a placement year?
If so, we have an opportunity for an Assistant Merchandising Planner to join our Group Merchandising team here at the Regatta Group in Urmston, Manchester.
The Assistant Merchandising Planner will sit within Business Group Merchandising department supporting the Merchandising Planners with their all their responsibilities for delivering stock requirements for one of our great brands.
All our brands operate across 3 channels with DTC consumer routes through our own Digital and Retail channels but predominately through the wholesale trade space offering our product to our many partners across Global markets.
Working with a Merchandising Planner, you will be tasked with supporting the delivering of profitable stock management, maintaining availability targets and providing analytics to support range management and strategic growth initiatives.
The Impact you will have in this role is:
In line with MP directive produce category analysis data (including sell through, profitability, key line performance) to support forecast submissions.
Produces the seasonal forecast templates with supporting sales analysis and initial forecast view prior to sending to market and channel partners for their feedback.
Place orders and size up requirements in line with China and production directives.
Following monthly merch meetings communicate any cancelled/ dropped lines to the wider business.
Monitor stock weekly and monthly in line with sale performance, taking appropriate action to report on any sales risk (over or undersell), OTB requirements, transfer requirements or potential overstock concerns.
Regularly review fwd. orders and back orders on the system working with channels to identify if stock is required or can be released to other business areas.
Bi weekly review clearance and slow movers and highlight to MP with a view to take action.
Own the production and distribution of weekly and monthly sales reports.
Identify and report on supply chain issues and dealing with problems or delays as they arise
Liaise with the Export and logistics to ensure stock is available at the right time into the right warehouse to achieve plan.
Responsible for PO splits between warehouses.
Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by Line Manager as an opportunity for development.
Undertake such tasks and duties as may be reasonably requested by your manager or other members of the management team.

As our future Assistant Merchandising Planner you will have:
Minimum 1 years' experience at Allocator/ MAA or Senior MAA or above (this can be from a University placement)
Understanding of Merchandising structures and required skill sets.
Understanding of supply chain and warehousing.
Ability to produce data analytics.
Ability to communicate effectively both 1-2-1 and in larger groups.
Excellent Attention to detail
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organization skills
Excellent time management skills
Knowledge of Microsoft platforms
Good excel skills
Familiar with data analytics solutions
Experience with Merch planning systems is an advantage.
