We now have exciting opportunities for Assistant Merchandisers to join the M&S family across various departments. In this position you will work as part of our Merchandising team managing the product lifecycle from buying to selling whether that is in store, online or through our International business, putting our customers at the heart of everything you do.

What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include.
- Working with the Merchandiser to agree the strategy and targets for creating and achieving pre and in season Range sales and stock forecasts by channel in addition to GSM Markdown and availability
- Booking quantities of products to meet launch and respond to in season variables for all channels and in the UK and International
- Maintaining accurate listings in Range Planner
- Working with Sourcing Offices to manage critical path from buy to store delivery for each stroke including capacity management and the agreement and monitoring of production plans with suppliers
- Maintaining awareness of competition’s product offer to provide input into price point strategy and catalogue by shape of chain
