Vendor Management are looking for an assistant manager to take on a portfolio of third-party vendors and internal delivery partners within our Enabling Functions landscape. The primary function of this role is to ensure our vendors and partners are meeting their contractual obligations and provide value to our organisation via our business partnership approach.

Your role will involve building strong relationships with key operational teams & stakeholders internally and with third-party vendors and internal delivery partners to drive value from our engagements. You will also be responsible for driving escalations to resolution across your portfolio and will be expected to support with commercial and contractual recommendations and improvements with the support of your stakeholders.

  • Taking a key role in delivering vendor management for the firm across both CBS and the Enabling functions
  • Taking responsibility over several third-party vendor and internal delivery partner relationships in your portfolio
  • Working alongside key operational teams & internal stakeholders to ensure strong vendor governance in support of compliance with all relevant internal and external standards and policies
  • Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
  • Driving and cultivating reporting and the production of meaningful vendor insights
  • Supporting innovation processes and exploring new opportunities in order to achieve cost reduction, value and customer excellence outcomes
  • Working in close collaboration with Procurement in enforcing contract management best practice
  • Providing analysis of vendor & internal delivery partner spend and service levels to drive insight and actionable plans.
  • Working in collaboration with Procurement and internal stakeholders in support of commercial and contractual negotiation

Essentials

  • Prior experience working in Vendor/Performance Management/Contract Management role.
  • Demonstrable skills in in Contract Management with experience in tracking and interpreting common contractual provisions, contract obligations and deliverables.
  • Knowledge in the management of outsourced contracts, billing, invoice administration.
  • Experience of working in a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Experience of working with large multifunctional teams effectively with the ability to operate through large cross business and/or cross border teams.
  • A history of building long-term, trust-based relationships with stakeholders and implementing governance processes to support vendor relationships.
  • An ability to influence stakeholders on financial and operational decisions to maximise value.
  • Ability to communicate and present best practice, data, insights and other findings effectively to stakeholders and our wider organisation.
