The NSE (North South Europe) Cyber Culture team are passionate about the human element of confidentiality, privacy and security risk. Our role is to build a strong, security aware culture, equipping our people with the necessary skills and knowledge to keep themselves, the firm and our clients safe.
We are a small team with a big remit. To sustain a strong security culture across our 65,000+ NSE people, we rely on our cyber champions to be our voice and primary advocate for security within their various teams. We have over 100 champions who help us to educate our diverse, widely distributed workforce towards better security practices and behaviours.
The Champions & Reporting manager has a pivotal, dual role in the team:
- Managing the Cyber Champions network to ensure its ongoing success and,
- Informing the effectiveness of all NSE Cyber Culture initiatives, including training, campaigns and the champions programme, through data analysis and reporting.
Collaborating with NSE wide stakeholders and SMEs, this is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a culturally diverse NSE team, supporting NSE integration.

Reporting into the NSE Cyber Culture Lead, you will be responsible for continual growth and improvement of our Cyber Champions program through delivery of roadmap initiatives and partnering with geography security teams. You will also own the Cyber Culture impact measurement strategy; identifying data sources, reporting metrics and providing insights to evaluate behavioural change.
You will be involved in hiring and managing a Champions & Reporting Analyst to support you in your role.
Specific responsibilities:
Overall
- Manage and work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
- Responsible for line management of the Champions & Reporting Analyst
Manage the Champions network
- Agree and deliver an innovative Cyber Champions roadmap that gives them a clear, purpose driven agenda and goals.
- Roadmap initiatives would include:
- Cascade NSE Cyber Culture messaging - run quarterly champion “roadshows” that align to our campaigns, provide campaign related supporting materials for champions to use in their team meetings and channels
- Educate our champions – organise and run Cyber Academies, bringing in SMEs to present on relevant topics
- Build a sense of community – organise an NSE champion conference, competitions virtual team building events, Yammer groups
- Drive continuous improvement – support Geos to run focus groups and surveys
- Promote our champions – help publicise their presence and commitment, highlight their accomplishments to their people leaders, use badges, certificates
- Partner with Geography Representatives (Geo Reps) to improve how they engage and work with their local champions to achieve greater impact and benefits
- Manage network membership - support Geo reps with onboarding / offboarding activities and work to resolve gaps in Business unit representation.
Deliver Cyber Culture impact measurement and insights
- Define and build an effective Cyber Culture metrics framework to measure behavioural change
- Define metrics, identify data sources, develop dashboards and reports
- Present data and trends to understand the effectiveness of our initiatives, opportunities for improvement and key risks and behaviours to target in future awareness initiatives.

Essential
- Good understanding of the purpose, function and challenges of operating a champion or ambassador programme
- An understanding of the metrics needed to assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives and cultural change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all grades and across different NSE geographies.
- Strong project management skills; with the ability to prioritise and deliver tasks to a high standard, promptly addressing or escalating concerns.
- Creative and critical thinker, with attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture for programme goals and improvements
- Ability to facilitate virtual meetings and workshops with large groups and a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to leverage their network and resources to deliver meaningful champions initiatives
- Proficient in the use of Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfortable working in a virtual team environment
Desirable
- Experience of running large scale champion / ambassador programmes
- A competent, user-orientated understanding of confidentiality, data security and privacy concepts
- Data analysis and reporting experience for measuring of impact of various initiatives
- Proficient in use of Power BI or other reporting tools
