As part of our Quality & Risk management processes, we use data from across internal and external systems to derive insights and help decision making both within the team and for wider stakeholders. We are looking for an individual to take on an Analytics role to support Consulting QRM team in data analysis, reporting, dashboard development as well as other operational activities and improvement initiatives.

A key aspect of the role involves support with a regular monthly reporting cycle to produce Consulting leadership reports and insight and analysis within the QRM team. The candidate must therefore be dependable and able to turn around reports to a clear timeframe. The candidate should be highly proficient in data manipulation and reports/dashboards generation.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a rewarding environment and may also bring opportunities to engage with colleagues in other Deloitte member firms.

Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Develop reports and dashboards in Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau and refresh them on a monthly/weekly basis to support QRM reporting activities
  • Explore the data to derive new insights and share analysis to support decision making within the Consulting QRM team and wider Consulting Leadership teams
  • Proactively identify process issues/opportunities to improve efficiency and facilitate continuous improvement, taking ownership to action/deliver as appropriate
  • Support both the day-to-day tasks of the team as well as the development and performance of individuals within the team
  • Review and quality assure outputs of junior members, identifying trends and proposing/implementing appropriate solutions
  • Ensure that prompt and regular communication and support is maintained between all internal and external parties to ensure seamless and consistent service levels are maintained at all times

We are looking for individuals with the following essential skills:

  • You have experience:
    • Working with large/multiple data sets and reporting in Excel including complex formulae
    • Data analysis to support decision making (financial/pricing experience is a plus
    • Developing presentations in PowerPoint for senior stakeholders
    • Developing dashboards in Tableau or a similar data visualisation tool
  • You are an effective decision-maker with excellent research skills combined with good judgement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels/able to interact with people at all levels across the firm
  • Attention to detail to maintain high professional standards with a focus on quality and confidentiality
  • Be flexible in your approach – have the ability to multi-task and adapt to changes. This is a dynamic role and you’ll be working on multiple, often complex, cases at the same time. Tight deadlines cannot phase you
  • People management and development

These additional skills would be advantageous (desirable not essential):

  • Experience with SQL, VBA, Python or coding in other languages
  • Experience working with SharePoint workflows
  • Experience with Alteryx or similar platforms
  • Project management or Consulting experience
