Job Description
Member Services is part of the Group Pensions Team within the People & Places division of Lloyds Banking Group. We look after the pension arrangements of around 300,000 of our colleagues and former colleagues, working with a network of suppliers and advisers and reporting to an independent Trustee Board. There are several different pension schemes, with different heritages and benefit structures, and overall the portfolio is among the largest private pension arrangements in the UK both by assets under management and membership.
Our purpose is to support good member outcomes. Part of running the schemes effectively is supporting members with their bespoke pension related queries and working with suppliers to ensure they can provide a quality service to members, that will evolve through identification of continuous improvement.
About the role..
- Acting as a subject matter expert for discussions and questions.
- Your strong pensions knowledge will ensure a wide variety of questions and queries are resolved.
- Prioritising complex benefit queries and taking ownership of queries and complaints from the pensions administration teams and members themselves.
- Preparing reports for senior management regarding case processing.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with other teams within the end to end process
- As your confidence grows you’ll spot and call out areas we can improve our member experiences.
About you..
You'll need to have experience in customer and/or client care and be able lead on a variety of enquiries from different sources. Previous experience of working in a pension’s role would also be an advantage.
- We'll support you to build on your technical knowledge and personal development during your time in this ole.
- You'll be connecting with multiple collaborators to ensure any member queries can be effectively managed.
- We’ll be looking to you for phenomenal communication skills, whilst managing expectations.
- Applying your good judgment when assessing queries and complaints.
