The Woods, Chapel Allerton is looking for a full-time Assistant manager.
The Woods is a very successful, independent bar, restaurant and events space, set over four floors with a newly developed roof garden, alongside our gardens and balcony.
Our beautiful events space rarely sleeps and has been used for everything from birthdays, office parties and meetings to live music and comedy.
Our drinks selection is second to none. We are renowned for our pizzas but have seen massive growth in different areas of food sales through our monthly specials and other menus. The Woods has become one of North Leeds’ favourite places for food and drink (as awarded by CARA).
We are looking for a happy, intelligent and creative person to join our team. Ideally you will have a background in restaurants and food but equally be confident in and around a bar.
You must have at least two years’ experience at management level, be able to train new staff with accuracy, and motivate and lead from the front. Your food and drinks knowledge needs to be expansive and inspiring, and you must be able to show a real passion for service that stands out.
Your work ethic has to be discerning and considerate. You will be working alongside our very focused GM in providing the highest of standards, which is what The Woods is known for. You will be expected to report back to the GM and directors with feedback on how we can better the business.

Up to £28,000 per annum including 28 days paid holiday.
48 hour week contract.
