Job Brief Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to assist with the organisation and overseeing of our daily operations within our Hotel and onsite Laundry. You will be responsible for coordinating activities and helping employees reach their full potential. Ensuing excellent guest and customer experiences. You should be both a leader and problem solver with excellent communication and organisational skills. We are a small family ran business and while there are significant management responsibilities attached to this position, the role does involve a sleeves up, hands on approach and the successful candidate with be required to complete cleaning, cooking and front of house duties in addition to their management responsibilities.

Live in accommodation is available if required by the successful candidate, this is a 1-bedroom City centre apartment with rent, utilities and council tax covered as part of your employment (not included is landline telephone/sky)
Key Responsibilities
· Manage all hotel operations including scheduling, planning and forecasting while upholding and championing standards, product quality and cleanliness
· Planning maintenance work, events and room bookings
· Assist and manages front desk/check ins/outs, hotel enquires as required
· Completing makeovers / fulls / deep cleans of hotel rooms and communal areas
· Ensures all rooms are cared for and inspected accordingly to ensure delivering the required standard to all guests
· Ensures the correct stock levels of cleaning materials / equipment / consumables are available
· Prepares and executes breakfast services
· Ensures cleanliness of common areas including stairways, outside areas, public areas, office and breakfast area
· To be responsible for the overall day-day running of the laundry
· Has detailed knowledge of the services / prices available
· Complete laundry / ironing / cleaning duties as necessary
· Ensures that all ‘services’ are clearly bagged up / labelled correctly indicating service / cost of service name etc.
· Accurately bags up dry cleaning and checks off return deliveries where appropriate
· Takes details of alterations and dry-cleaning requirements as per procedure
· Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of all communal areas, laundry area, reception, workstation, windows and public areas etc.
· Responsible for ensuring a constant daily supply of clean / ironed linens for the hotel (ensuring that specific room linen/towels are provided for the next day) Maintains records of takings and services with 100% completion/accuracy as recorded on the Daily Sheet
· To be responsible for additional daily tasks delegated / dedicated to completing the tasks assigned

Salary: £23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
