ASSITANT MANAGER wanted for a heritage, lifestyle Retailer.
Location: Thurrock
Salary: £30-40k + bonus
Fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded, customer focused Assistant Manager, to join this ever evolving heritage lifestyle Retailer.
Job Role:
As Assistant Manager, you will report directly to the Store Manager and be responsible for delivering the P&L and commercial excellence of your store. You will be the role model for exceptional customer service and through inspirational leadership develop your team to be ambassadors of the brand. You’ll combine your experience, commercial insight and excellent visual merchandising skills to continually grow the success of the brands and look to exceed targets year on year.
Experience necessary:
Previous experience working as an Assistant/Store Manager an advantage, or if you are a standalone Department Manager who is ready for the next step within a large turnover remit
Managed turnovers of at least £3m+ +
Commerciality is key- must be KPI driven and have a proven track record
Know how to drive sales through a team
Strong visual experience
Be an effective people manager, who knows how to develop talent and be a strong motivational leader
Had exposure to using P&L accounts
Successfully able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities in a multinational business
Seeks opportunities to be proactive and pre-empt store and team issues
Demonstrates respect, leadership capabilities and regularly exceeds expectations
Shows innovation and initiative
