We're looking for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join our Infrastructure Major Projects Team at Sellafield, Cumbria. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Contract: Permanent / Part Time working of circa 22.5 hours per week is available

Responsibilities
As an Assistant HR Business Partner, you'll be working within the Infrastructure team to implement and provide advice on HR policies, procedures and practices to managers and employees based on the Sellafield project
The role requires a good understanding of employee relations issues and experience of working with Trade Unions is preferred
Your day to day will include:
- Support the site management team and provide guidance in all project related HR matters
- Partner with line managers and supervisors to resolve day to day issues and to implement good people management practices. Setting high standards of service
- Support managers with recruitment of employees, liaising with the central Recruitment Team to attract and retain the best talent
- Support the on-boarding and security process for new starters to the project
- Actively manage and advise on absence, long term ill health, liaising with Occupational Health professionals as appropriate.

This role of an Assistant HR Business Partner is great for you are able to:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of delivering an HR service, preferably in a unionised environment
- Good working knowledge of employment law, HR policies and procedures and
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Desire to drive change and make things happen
- Time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
