Harrier Primary Academy is a brand-new, two-form entry primary school with a 26 (FTE) place Nursery attached opening in September 2023 and is part of REAch2 Academy Trust. In our first year, we will open with one Reception class and then grow year on year to a capacity of 420 learners with 26 (FTE) nursery places.
Harrier Primary Academy is designed to meet and be responsive to the needs of the local community it serves. We want to pride ourselves on the high expectations we place on the academic achievements and behaviour of all children, whatever their need, as well as a broad, diverse and engaging creative curriculum which will underpin all that we do. We will strive for the best outcomes for our children and want to give them every opportunity to succeed. Harrier Primary will be an academy where every child is respected and treated as an individual, with no limits placed on their learning – just opportunities to continually improve with a growth mindset approach. We will empower children to take ownership and responsible for their own learning.
