Assistant Garment Technologist

What are we looking for?
Someone to provide first class support for the product team and ensure the smooth running of the area.
Key Tasks
Product Management
- Log in all fit samples and PP samples. Checking that all samples have been processed and commented on.
- File all fabric, garment, and safety testing.
- Measure samples.
- Measure and process gold seal samples for approval.
- Updating business systems on the status of sample after fit and risk assessment meetings.
- Setting up initial workbooks for garments.
- Taking notes/photos in fit and risk assessment meetings.
- Get samples ready for fit meetings, making sure workbooks and previous comments are present.
- General administration duties.
Manufacturing Partners
- Liaise with overseas manufactures
- Chasing suppliers for samples, testing, mock ups, buying samples/fits.
Personal Impact & Self Development
- Strong organisation skills
Communication
- Recognises the importance of verbal communication via phone and video conferencing.
- Arranging fit meetings with the relevant departments.
Knowledge & Experience Required
- Competent knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel.
- Ability to quickly learn new software and databases.
- Sound knowledge of garment construction, measuring and grading.
