If you’re looking to work outside within a historical naturalistic landscape, this may be the role for you. You will be mowing and strimming Attinghams & Sunnycrofts grounds to help us balance nature and the needs of our visitors.
The Hours: Flexible hours to be discussed at interview with a variety of shift patterns available. You'll be required to work weekend hours but again we would discuss your availability upon successful completion of your application.

Reporting to the Head Gardener, you'll work alongside a team of 5 Gardening staff and a team of over 80 Gardening volunteers who help us out over 7 days a week. You’ll play your part in helping us build relationships and make connections with our regular visitors and new visitors, and those yet to visit, so we can keep Attingham & Sunnycroft a special place now, and for everyone, whilst delivering the highest Horticultural standards.

What you'll be doing:Your role will predominantly involve mowing and strimming around our main site in all weathers. It will include other garden tasks such as pruning, weeding and hedge cutting, whilst helping to support other teams around this lively site.
Working alongside our full time Gardeners, Volunteer team and the wider team here at Attingham, you will be involved with all aspects of looking after the outdoors, helping out when needed with various tasks across the estate from the walled Garden to our sister property of Sunnycroft. Pulling together as part of a larger team to ensure we support nature, and our visitor’s needs.
