Assistant Financial Controller
c. £45,000 to £50,000 per annum
The Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust is looking to appoint a new Assistant Financial Controller. The Assistant Financial Controller is a vital part of a planned and open succession process, with the current Financial Controller retiring in Summer 2024. The appointment of the Assistant Financial Controller offers an outstanding opportunity for career progression for the right candidate.
The Assistant Financial Controller, working closely with the Financial Controller, will engage with the Chief Executive, Executive team and trustees, to support strategic finance, regulatory and taxation matters as well as hands on management of the accounts team and production of timely, accurate accounting information. The post-holder will deputise for the Financial Controller, assuming key leadership responsibilities within the department and in supporting the effective financial management of the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust its subsidiaries.
