Stenn International provides innovative financing solutions to help their clients unlock global capital in global supply chains. Registered five years ago they have experienced strong growth with plans to have in excess of $1bn of receivables globally by the end of 2023, Stenn is now looking to grow their international business. Stenn sits in the Fintech industry which is seeing significant market valuations with the United States and London producing the biggest of these exciting companies. To facilitate this exponential growth Stenn require an Assistant Financial Accountant to join the team to provide support and insight. The role will report to the Finance Manager
This is a great role for someone who wants to work in a high growth environment with exposure to multiple areas of Finance.
The Role:
- Supporting the Finance Manager with finance and accounting system issues
- Day to day accounting tasks including journals, sales and bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounting entries.
- Assistance with month end and the preparation of the monthly management accounts and audited financial statements.
- Dealing with audit queries at interim and final stage
- Support on treasury function including cash flow forecasting, daily and monthly collections files.
- Liaising with our Operations team over trade data posting
- IT input on accounting system including maintenance and upgrades.
- Supporting work on ad hoc finance projects including capital financing, equity and debt issuance.
What we're looking for in you:
- Candidates with a preference for start-up environments, where they'll be constantly challenged to learn.
- Curiosity and willingness to get involved in all areas of Finance (from Accounts Payable through to helping produce annual accounts).
- Prior experience to include financial control, dealing with journals posting, bank and ledger reconciliations and interrogating and dealing with large data sets
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Solid Excel knowledge.
- Experience with accounting and reporting systems (e.g. SAGE)
