Job description
The role as a Assistant Finance Manager will assist the Group Financial Controller with all aspects of revenue accounting and control.
This varied role will predominantly involve assisting the [Accounts Manager/Financial Controller] with accounting and control of all aspects of revenue for the Group. Some flexibility to cover other aspects of the accounting function will be required.
This role will aid the timely and accurate preparation of the month end and year revenues and associated balance sheet reconciliations.
The role will involve building close working relationships internally with the finance team and wider team members.
As a Assistant Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
- Daily reconciliation of income
- Reconcile daily cash and credit card takings
- Reconcile deposits and future bookings
- Accounts receivable, including credit control
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of revenue reports
- Assist with inter-company transactions
- Other aspects where required
About you
You will be well organised and have an excellent attention to detail, with strong accounting and analytical skills.
A good understanding of processes and controls is also essential.
You will be capable of multitasking while adhering to internal or external operational and financial deadlines, be comfortable with manipulating and analysing large amounts of data.
The successful candidate will have:

- Able to use initiative to effectively resolve issues
- The successful candidate must have AAT 3 or equivalent qualification 3 Years experience in a similar role

Salary: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
