Assistant Finance Business Partner | Birmingham | £40,000-£45,000
The Company
Seymour John are recruiting for an Assistant Finance Business Partner position for a leading Birmingham business. The role has been created to support the business as it enters an exciting new era, having invested significantly to modernise supply chain and delivery infrastructure. It is an ideal opportunity for a recently qualified Management Accountant that is looking to develop into Finance Business Partnering. There is a clear progression path for ambitious applicants.
The Role
The Assistant Finance Business Partners will work closely with the Finance Business Partnering team to support senior management and board level directors, to develop reporting and provide first class insight and management information to influence decision making and improving business performance. Key duties include;
· Finance query resolution supporting the UK operation
· Providing financial insight to the operation
· Weekly forecasts, sales and margin analysis
· Month-end reporting requirements
· Budgeting & forecasting
Personal Profile
· Finalist or recently qualified accountant ACCA, ACMA
· 2 years of experience in Management Accounting or Commercial Financial Analysis
· Ambition to develop commercial acumen and Finance Business Partnering skills
· Strong analytical approach with excellent Excel and data manipulation skills
