We are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our team at our Dewsbury site.
As Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will:
- Contribute to the production of monthly management accounts with precise analysis and insights, including variance analysis and KPI’s.
- Assist with the preparation of forecasts & budget for all elements of P&L, supporting control of Capital spend.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, preparation and review to identify and eliminate risk.
- Participate in regular review meetings onsite with all stakeholders and budget holders to manage costs and advise on performance.
- Provide assistance and good practice training to our business on finance and internal controls
- Supporting the annual statutory reporting process, implementing and monitoring financial controls across all departments and sites to ensure adherence.
- Ensure all monthly reporting is completed accurately and in accordance with company timetable and requirements.
- Ensure relevant business area & company meets profit requirements, challenging robustly but appropriately where required.
- Have a continuous Process Improvement mind-set striving towards Best Practice within the division and across the wider Finance Community.
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
- Be at that start of your journey studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- IT/systems – An understanding of Excel essential, advantageous experience would include JDE, Hubble & Cognos.
- Some understanding of financial systems and controls.
- Have a self-starting, right first time mind-set.
